Here is a list of things that help to motivate me to get my butt in gear everyday. A lot of these can also be motivating if you work out side of the home as well!
- Take a shower-it wakes you up and makes you feel alive
- Get out of your pajamas-even if it is just yoga pants-tricks your body into thinking it is going somewhere.
- Drink a cup of coffee-it makes the juices start flowing
- Do one thing in your house-clean the sink, do a load of laundry-anything to make you feel accomplished.
- Make your bed-it makes you feel like you are starting a fresh new day
- Break your day down to tasks and prioritize them-get the most important things done first.
- Have breakfast-even if it is just a piece of fruit your body needs nourishment to work
- Think positive-if you tell yourself you can get through the day you can
- Just start working-it will be hard at first but once you start your body will continue.
- Get some fresh air-go for a walk or sit outside for a few minutes-helps to wake you up and feel refreshed
